Miracles
Sri Appagaru was never in favour of showing miracles. But he performed few miracles when his disciples were in great distress. Once his disciples whowere poor farmers of Malkapur village in Medak District, Andhra Pradesh state now known as Telangana State implored him for rains as crops were withering due to lack of water in the village lake during the severe drought in the year 1972. Kind hearted Sri Appagaru blessed them as a result, there was heavy down pour and the lake was filled with water thus saving the crops. Similar miracles took place in respect of other village known as ‘Panchalingal’ in Hyderabad District. Devotees suffering from incorrigible diseases were cured and they regained their health with his blessings. Few childless couples for many years were blessed with children when they prayed to him. Few young devotees got jobs in prestigious companies and government departments even though they did not have requisite qualifications or merit. Devotees affected with ‘jinn’ and other evil spirits or victims of black magic were ‘freed’ in his holy presence and he never gave any ‘tawiz’ or Talisman for this purpose.
Sri Appagaru attained Maha Samadhi and unity with his beloved on 8th march 1986 following illness. Later his devotees constructed a ‘Gumbad’, a dome shaped structure over his holy shrine at WatpalliSharif which is being visited by thousands of devotes to offer their prayers to fulfil their desires.
